A Study tour of 12-delegates from the National Teachers Elected Council of Afghanistan visited All India Primary Teachers Federation office and had a day-long discussion. The delegation also visited state of Uttar Pradesh and Agra district leaders to understand and know the intricacies of the union administration. The purpose of the visit was to have:
- A greater understanding of the process of building an organization with a local, state, regional and national structure
- A better vision of what can be accomplished over time, having seen first-hand a successful organization in operation
- Specific information on the themes like women, communication, finances etc.
- Ideas and resources to help them move the NTEC in Afghanistan forward.
